Acoustic guitar setup

It would be great if every guitar came out of the factory playing like a dream. However, most will need a setup to reach their full potential.
Guitars are made of wood which moves with change of humidity and temperature. This movement will affect their playability.

A properly setup acoustic guitar will ensure that the instrument is easy to play, sounds its best and personalise to your preferences.

A new guitar will usually just need a core setup as below. On occasion it can happen that the frets are not correctly level at the factory. In this case a frets levelling will be required.
